Eligibility
Some of the basic requirements to join Mortar Board Forum Chapter include the following:
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA
- Minimum of 90 hours by the end of Summer 2012
- Commitment to active membership
- Graduation date after Summer 2012
- Prospective senior graduating between December 2012 and May of 2013.
Mortar Board Forum Chapter is comprised of the best and brightest seniors at Texas Tech University. Membership to this organization is very elite, therefore those chosen are held to high standards.
Membership requires the dedication and enthusiasm of each member in order to uphold the traditions and reputation of Mortar Board. As a member, you are required to attend monthly meetings, participate in ALL MoB mandatory events, help during community service projects, and agree to work during at least one Mortar Board Flower sales at the December 2012 or May 2013 graduation. Each upcoming class of members should strive to improve the chapter, its events and reputation.
If you feel you meet the standards and can fulfill the requirements, please submit your application starting in Spring 2012.
