Each of us has at least one professor who has shaped who we are today, changed our lives, or gone beyond in teaching us about our world, and Mortar Board and Omicron Delta Kappa want to give you a chance to give that professor a shout-out.
On October 27th, 2007 five of Texas Tech University's best and most valued faculty members will earn the distinguished honor of being honored by the student body. During the halftime ceremonies of Tech's hosting of Colorado, the Faculty Recognition Award -- respected, elite, and rare honors -- will be bestowed on the five faculty members Tech students want to celebrate for leadership, committment, compassion, or consistently superior instruction.
So tell us about your most valued professor. You can nominate a faculty member online here. Nominations can be made by individual students, groups of students, or organizations, and there is no limit to how many nominations students can make. Have 3 amazing, life-changing professors? Nominations are due by midnight on Monday, October 15th, 2007. and must be filled out online.
And don't forget to come to Jones AT&T Stadium when Tech takes on Colorado October 27th. Winning faculty members will be announced at halftime. |
